Genealogy

"OUR PURPOSE shall be to institute and encourage genealogical research, to collect and to preserve the materials of genealogy and history, and to spread genealogical information, especially that concerning Kosciusko County, Indiana." 

We are the caretaker of the county public record books. This includes a large collection of guardianship and estate books, school records, township records, county plat and statistical records, tax books as well as a series of county health office marriage application books.

The Kosciusko County Genealogy Library is open to the public Wednesday  - Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

All patrons are asked to register upon entering the library. There is an on site copy machine and a microfilm reader/printer. Laptops and cameras may be used in the library. No camera flashes are allowed.
