Whitko Community Digital Image Project
Photos of Pierceton, Washington, Monroe, & Jackson Townships in Kosciusko County along with Cleveland & Richland Townships in Whitley county are being scanned to preserve these wonderful treasures for to create a lasting digital pictorial archive. The Piercetion & Washington Township library & the South Whitley-Cleveland Township Public Library along with the Kosciusko County Historical Society will digitize items from existing collections as well as borrow items from individuals and organizations; professionally scan and catalog the images based on standards set by the Indiana State Library and make the records available for free to the public via the online database Indiana Memory.
